'Blue' dominates choice of colour in most websites and mobile apps

     Did you notice that most of the websites and mobile apps have used blue as their main colour? Recently, a new research shows that blue colour dominates choice of colour in most famous websites and mobile apps such as Facebook, Google, Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, LinkedIn etc.

 

     John Herrman at The Awl observes that many companies have used blue colour for their logos, websites and mobile apps. The Verge reported that the most popular colour of most app icons is blue.

     A natural color, from the blue of the sky, blue is a universal color. Its cool and calming effect may be the reasons why it is so popular as a brand and icon color.
